I oversaw the writing of technical specifications for the artists. I had to describe the nuances of this task in great detail so that Artyom could provide comprehensive information for the illustrations. This was a successful experience for me. I also had to write technical specifications for Artyom, as this was his first encounter with our concept, and I needed to instill confidence in him.
In the end, we produced one of the best projects, which received approval and high praise!
Chinese mythology
We present the fourth art encyclopedia in 2024 in the "ARTMIF - World Bestiary" series, dedicated to one of the world's most ancient civilizations – Egypt. A unique catalog of 75 characters – minor deities, demons, and denizens of the afterlife – from ancient Egyptian mythology. Many of the Gods featured are little-known and rarely appear in scholarly literature intended only for Egyptologists. We provide a hieroglyphic spelling of each character's name and the God's well-known title – an epithet by which a given deity was often referred to. In the book we present little-known details and nuances of ancient Egyptian religious beliefs.
This book gives everybody the opportunity to discover translations of quotes from ancient sources, temple walls, and the Pyramid Texts.
